INTRODUCING BOB LISANTI AS DIRECTOR OF PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

Bo Jackson’s Elite Sports and Cangelosi Baseball are proud to announce that Bob Lisanti has been appointed Director of Baseball Player Development. In this new role Bob will provide leadership to all aspects of baseball instruction, research, and curriculum development. He will provide oversight to all baseball instructor hiring and training, as well as ongoing education and development of the current staff.

Bob brings a high level of expertise and professionalism to Bo Jackson’s Elite Sports. He is passionate about player and instructor development and it shows through his leadership in the dome and on the field. Bob’s unique background gives insight to all aspects of the game of baseball at every level.

Bob attended the University of Notre Dame on a baseball scholarship, playing under legendary coaches Pat Murphy and Paul Mainieri. During his college career, he earned All-Conference honors twice as a catcher and was voted team captain an unprecedented 3 times.  Bob also twice played in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League (’92, ’94), being voted the leagues ‘Most Outstanding Defensive Player’ in 1992.   After graduating, he signed with the Chicago Cubs. He played at every minor league level, finishing his career with the AAA Iowa Cubs.
