40/80 Club For Advanced Infielders, Outfielders, and Catchers

2016 – 2017
We’ve designed an elite training program specifically for infielders, outfielders, and catchers that will focus on developing a player’s complete game. We have built a four month program that will cover: advanced hitting philosophy with the help of video analysis and ProBatter PX2, position-specific defensive drills, and BSF Performance Training. This program is designed for the player who is willing to dedicate himself to a focused baseball training program that will elevate his game. We will run this program 3x a week for 2 hours.
We have allocated, what we call our most advanced tool, the ProBatter PX2, for players to have access to for the entire 80 hours of this program. Working on our swings in the cage with dead ball drills and batting practice is great and very beneficial; However the ProBatter PX2 gives our players the ability to see velocity up to 100 mph and implement the mechanical adjustments they’ve been trying to make in the cage. This tool will give our players a huge edge over the competition come the spring time.

November and December
The first two months of the 40/80 club will emphasize hitting, strength & speed training, and an arm velocity strengthening program. We will concentrate on hitting mechanics and studying each player’s swing using video analysis equipment. Players will be given the opportunity to hone their skills in our pitching simulator, the ProBatter PX2. Exit velocities will be tracked on a bi-weekly basis to see hitters’ progress. Players will alternate days in the weight room between a focus on strength and speed. We have also internally developed an arm strength and stability program using the best applications and research in the sport of baseball.
January and February
After the holiday break, we will switch gears and focus on defensive development. Defensive workouts will consist of high-energy drill work and repetitive exercises. Each position-specific group will be coached up by former college and professional coaches that played the same position. The sports performance will transition into high rep exercises and really focus on speed and agility. In the cages, we will shift to more high velocity drills and work on hitting off-speed pitches using our hack-attack machines and the ProBatter PX2. The 40/80 Club will put you in the right direction to having a successful high school season.
