High School Positional Training
“Dedicated players train hard, but they must also train smart. Hitting is very specific and unique,
and we must train the body to move efficiently and sequence those movements properly. The fall training program is designed help hitters understand the body movements that will maximize their power and explosiveness.”
-Bob Lisanti, Director of Player Development
2019 High School Fall Positional Training
The goal of the Cangelosi Baseball Fall Training Program is to give our players the tools and knowledge to be “impact players.” John Cangelosi and his staff will direct this program which includes repetitive hitting exercises that include use of ProBatter and Hit Trax, position-specific defensive work for middle infielders, corner infielders, outfielders, and catchers.
Players will receive 40 minutes of live on-field batting practice in addition to their 40 minutes of hitting instruction in the cages. This will give players the opportunity to see the flight of the ball off the bat before their games each weekend.
